This is a rare green ammonite nodule that was collected many years ago from Golden Cap, Charmouth, Near Lyme Regis, Dorset, England and has been recently prepared by Stone Treasures. The nodule contains one ammonite Liparoceras (Bechieceras) gallicum which has been beautifully prepared to show excellent detail and preservation. Specimen does have a repair, but isn't very visible from the front !
Specimen measures approx 12.5cm x 12.7cm x 7cm, with the ammonite approx 8.6cm in diameter.
Quite rare to find specimens like this one from the UK, so would be a great addition to any collection or as a gift.
